Techniques to make animations

In 2D animation, there are many ways to make an animated film. Of the many techniques of manufacture, can be classified into 3 broad outline only, namely:

a. Stop Motion Animation: ie making the animation in a way shoot one at a picture using a video or movie camera. This animation requires a fairly high cost, the manufacturing process is very long and requires a lot of animators. Staining technique is still manual, so it takes gallons of paint color. This technique requires a mica (Celluloid), poster paint, and roll Celluloid film production process. This method is used by the maker of animated films with a large scale in the era before the digital age is found.

b. Hybrid 2D Animation: ie making the animation manually by drawing on paper, in-scan (digitizing process) and then processed in the computer. Animation is called hybrid because it combines lkeammpuan images with manual and computerized. The cost of making the animation is relatively less expensive because the coloring is done by digital format on the computer, so no longer use the manual color paint, although the draw is still using the old way is by drawing on paper by hand. By using this technique, an animated film can only be done by an animator or can also be done with a great team, according to the needs and time specified.

c. 2D Digital Animation: the making of pure animation using computer techniques, ranging from drawing to coloring. Usually using a mouse or electronic pen tablet in the drawing. If not used to using two tools above, then the resulting picture will look stiff. The cost of film production by using this technique will be pressed more cheaply in another appeal animation techniques, because all the process done with a digital format. This animation technique is usually only used for the animated-short animation.
